As part of the Young Refugee Voices campaign, a group of young people produced this short film to record their stories of what it’s like to be a young refugee or asylum seeker.
The short documentary worked with over 40 young people from Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Bangladesh, who had recently arrived in the UK. It looks into the challenges two young African women faced whilst travelling to the UK as teenagers. It records their thoughts and views on Britain and their thoughts on emotional wellbeing.
The short film was screened at international film festivals in Germany and the USA.
